We need two (2) Rotarians a month to spend an afternoon with our Vets as they tour Cheyenne on the Trolley.
- Every 3rd Tuesday of the month
- 2:00 - 4:00 PM
In Order to Find the Correct Location to Get ON the Trolley:
- Enter 2360 E Pershing Blvd (VA Cheyenne Regional Office) into your navigational device
- Park anywhere in the lot you are driving through
- A circle of flags should be to your NORTH surrounded on 3 sides by brick buildings
- The trolley will park at the SOUTH WEST part of the curve, and it is usually in the shade.
Helpful Info About the Trolley Ride
- Numbers on the trolley vary depending on how many Vets are currently in the program
- How much the Vets do/do not want to participate or talk with you also varies
In general, enter the trolley without judgement, with patience and of course, kindness. The Vets are here to heal, and when they participate in the outside activities like the trolley ride, it's a chance to "just be" and maybe have some fun!
