Polio

Rotarian Lucie Osborn will present her Blue Stocking paper on the eradication of polio.  A timely presentation, as the eradication of polio is a primary goal of Rotary and has connections to the development of vaccines.  Some Club members will remember and even know people in Cheyenne and elsewhere who have polio, some will not.  By the end of this meeting you will hear the stories of three polio victims who have direct connections to our Club, and you will all know someone who has polio.  Following Lucie’s presentation, you will hear from a Club member with polio.  The information shared in this presentation will hopefully motivate you to support Rotary’s goal of polio eradication.
