Jimmy Orr is the founder and executive editor of Cowboy State Daily.  Orr is a longtime journalist who was on the masthead at the Los Angeles Times and the Christian Science Monitor as the Managing Editor, Digital.

In the political arena, Orr served as a spokesman for the White House and directed digital strategy for President George W. Bush and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Prior to these positions, Orr worked for Wyoming Governor Jim Geringer and U.S. Senators Malcolm Wallop and Al Simpson.

He was also the co-founder of The Sports Show with ESPNs Woody Paige and Les Shapiro and was the executive producer of Clay Travis Outkick the Show.

In just a few short years, Cowboy State Daily has become Wyoming’s largest news organization. Not only in terms of readership, which is measured electronically, but in subscriptions.  They currently have 93,000 subscribers to our morning newspaper, and they have the largest news staff in the state.  Based in Cheyenne with reporters in every corner of the state. Jimmy will discuss what they are currently doing, what guides them, where they are, and how they are doing it.
