As previously announced, the Cheyenne Rotary Club is participating in the “With Malice Toward None” (WMTN) initiative of Braver Angels (www.braverangels.org). The days and weeks following the election may become the most divisive period in modern American history—no matter who wins. Events will be held before and after the election for those who want to participate. The first is online, October 20th (Tues.)  6:30 - Dealing with the Stress and Effects of the Election. Register in advance at this link:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/124704142447. You can keep up on national and regional events at  https://braverangels.org/what-we-do/ and https://www.facebook.com/Braver-Angels-Wyoming-and-Montana-107428950673096/. A key element of WMTN is the Pledge: “Regardless of how the election turns out, I will not hold hate, disdain, or ridicule for those who voted differently from me. Whether I am pleased or upset about the outcome, I will seek to understand the concerns and aspirations of those who voted differently and will look for opportunities to work with people with whom I disagree.” To take the Pledge, go to https://braverangels.org/what-we-do/with-malice-toward-none/.
