Later is Too Late: Actions to Ensure Wyoming’s People and Nature Thrive

The deep snows that feed Wyoming’s water supplies are becoming a thing of the past, while big game face an increasingly dangerous gauntlet of fences, highways and subdivisions. How can we make sure our Wyoming way of life continue for ourselves and our kids? In this short talk from Hayley Mortimer, Wyoming State Director for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) we share ideas for how Rotarians can motivate people in their communities to take action and keep our wild and working lands healthy for current and future generations.

New Member Introduction
Shown are President Lori, sponsor Sarah Compton and new member Tammy Bauman.
Tammy Bauman is a seasoned leader in the credit union industry, driven by a deep-rooted commitment to the movement's core principle: People Helping People. With 13 years of dedicated service, she stands as a beacon of inspiration within the financial sector. Her journey began as a lender, guided by a mentor's wisdom and support, which instilled in her a desire to pay it forward through management.
As a Vice President and Branch Manager at Meridian Trust Credit Union, she spearheads operational strategy, ensuring top-notch service and employee development. Yet, her impact transcends the workplace. Her leadership philosophy combines grit and grace, emphasizing empathy and advocacy for financial well-being.
Beyond the office, she immerses herself in community initiatives, serving as co-vice president of the Friday Food Bag Foundation and contributing to various nonprofits, including Habitat for Humanity’s “The House that Credit Unions Built,” Meals on Wheels “Hike for Hunger,” Boys and Girls Club, and the Wyoming Hunger Initiative.
In her free time, she enjoys sharing time with her family and is passionate about supporting the youth in her community.  She embodies the Western Way of Life and believes in leading with a servant heart, giving back to her community, and fostering a brighter future for all.
