Hello Fellow Rotarian!
We would like to announce an opportunity for you to attend the next ‘Rotary 101’ event, hosted by the Rotary Club of Cheyenne. Rotary 101 is an opportunity for relatively new Rotarians to learn more about the local club, Rotary International, service projects, the foundation and much, much MORE! This is also a great opportunity for Rotarians who have transferred to the Cheyenne club to learn more about District 5440, and all the great committees and ways to get involved in the Cheyenne Club!

What:   Rotary 101
Date:    Thursday, March 10th 2022
Time:    5:30pm – 7:00pm
Where: Hirst and Applegate, LLP Board Room
              1720 Carey Ave #400
              Cheyenne, WY 82001

We will provide dinner and refreshments to keep everyone fueled and full of Rotary Fun!

As a gentle reminder, attending a Rotary 101 event is required to remove the red badge from your nametag. If you are not able to attend this session, there will be another scheduled for early summer.

If you are able to attend the March 10th event, please RSVP to Scott VanHorn at svanhorn@lcccfoundation.edu at your earliest convenience.

Thank you and have a great day!

Progressive Dinner Invite
Hey Rotarians. We are just over a month out from the Progressive Dinner on March 20 and want to get our ducks in a row. Last time we did this, pre-covid, over 36 signed up. We’re hoping for more! First thing we need from each of you is confirmation that you plan to attend and will you be bringing a guest or guests – need your numbers. If you would like to bring non-Rotarians or have folks in town you would like to come, feel free as this event would be a great place to show off Rotary; just let us know so that we can plan accordingly. Second is host homes – we have several (and room for more) so far, Sims, VanDeweges, Hammels, Kirkbrides, and Lathrops. Larger space homes have volunteered and will accommodate everyone for appetizers and dessert but anyone can do the main course for 6-10 people. We also need helpers to bring food items if you can’t host, so let us know about that.  Do any of you wish to host a main course place as we need to split into several groups?

The official invite is coming soon. We do have a budget to help with food items so don’t let that stop you! Once we know numbers we will be back to you about the logistics of the progressive meal. This is going to be FUN!

The Progressive Planning team is President Anja Bendel, Lindi Kirkbride 307-630-1601, lindikirkbridewy@gmail.com, Lindsey Reynolds 970-978-9853, lindsey@cheyennesymphony.org, Denise and Brent Lathrop 307-286-9301. Contact any of us with questions. Thanks to everyone who’s involved!
