Jeff Noffsinger is the Director of the Cheyenne Metropolitan Planning Organization. The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) was designated for transportation planning purposes by Governor of Wyoming in 1981. The Organization is responsible for developing transportation policies and coordinating the various federal, state, and local agencies involved in long-range planning and project development. The primary focus of the organization is transportation, their mission is far more than just highways and pavement. They are involved in all aspects of growth, development, and of quality-of-life improvements for the Cheyenne area involving transportation.
Tom Bass reported from the Business Sponsorship Committee that $43,000 had been raised so far this year. Great Job Tom, Traci Lacock, Brittany Wilson, Mike Williams, and Carmalee Rose.
Chris Mickey turned in an application to join our Club, he is sponsored by Bill Gentle. Chris is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Wyoming Business Alliance.
March book prep for Raising Readers in Wyoming date has been set for March 26th. We will meet at 5:30pm at the Ken Garff Hyundai Dealership upstairs in the breakroom.
