Caminos de Acción, was founded in 2012 by Laura Hastings and Blanca Escoto de Benitez. These women met during Blanca’s Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Wyoming. Since their meeting, these ladies have created CdA and continue to work tirelessly on helping as many individuals within the Los Tehuistes community as possible.
Laura currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors. Blanca has served on the board and continues to support CdA efforts in Los Tehuistes.
CdA's Mission is to work in solidarity with Salvadorans to facilitate community organization in order to address locally identified challenges in El Salvador including social, educational and health related issues.
Their Vision is to assist Salvadorans in reaching their full potential as members of and leaders in their families, communities and society.
September 23, the Meeting will be held at Little America at 12 noon.
