Cheyenne Regional Medical Center

Tim Thornell is the President and CEO of Cheyenne Regional Health System in Wyoming. The system is comprised of Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the Davis Hospice Center, Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center, Wyoming Institute of Population Health, and Cheyenne Regional Medical Group, the state’s largest medical group. CRMC is a Joint Commission (TJC) accredited hospital with special accreditations as a Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center. CRMC is an ANCC Magnet hospital, the only one in Wyoming to hold this designation.

Mr. Thornell served as CEO of Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs, New Mexico for eight years. He has held COO positions at MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Yakima Regional Medical Center in Yakima, Washington.

Mr. Thornell is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Diplomat of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He holds undergraduate degrees in Physiology and French from University of California, Davis and a masters in Health Administration from University of Southern California. He is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Rotary Hero
Carole Boughton is President Beth's Rotary Hero of the week for all her efforts to raise funds to send the LCCC Rotaract Club members to the Rotary International Conference in Calgary.  Last week's 'Make a Flippin Difference' pancake breakfast was a fund raiser for the Rotaract Club.
Paul Harris Awards
Jess Ryan received his PH+2 and also gifted his wife Danielle her first PHF.  Foundation Chair Lori and President Beth presented the awards.
Lee Alley, Back From Vietnam
President Beth looks on as Lt. Lee Alley tells the club about a documentary he is working on with PBS about the Vietnam War and why the United States was there.

Dave Bartlett ran through a series of random questions with new members Chris Mickey and Michelle Stephenson to familarize club members with who they are.
