ESports at LCCC, the meeting location is at Little America.
LCCC is one of four Region IX schools that currently have competitive Esports teams, with five more schools considering adding a team. Eathletes will compete with Region IX teams and teams from across the country. Currently, the NJCAAE reports that more than 1100 students participate in Esports across the United States.
LCCC Esports fall season is in the books but the coach, players, team, and program have a lot to look forward to and be excited about for spring. The spring schedule will be announced in January and the team can be followed on twitch.tv/lcccesports as well as through golccc.com
This week, The Rotary Club of Cheyenne Board approved a donation of $2,000 to help the residents and community impacted by the recent Marshall fire in Boulder County Colorado where over 500 families lost their homes and the area will be faced with the devastation for years to come.
This contribution will be matched by District 5440 who recently approved up to $20,000 in matching funds collected by Clubs throughout the District. Once all funds are collected, they will be provided to District 5450 (who covers Boulder County) to determine how best to utilize the money for the recovery and support of those impacted.
