Election Integrity and Security

Election Integrity and Security, the meeting location will be at Little America Hotel and Resort.

The questioning of election integrity is a nationwide narrative and a real threat to the strength of, and trust in, our democracy. The battle for truth will be ongoing and we all have our part. The Wyoming Secretary of State, Edward Buchanan, and all 23 Wyoming County Clerks are your first points of contact for true and accurate election information. If you read something that makes you question the integrity of Wyoming's elections, chances are it's a product of misinformation. Be vigilant and understand that misinformation spreads like wildfire, but together we can snuff out the flames and actively participate in elections with confidence.

Tree Planting in Cheyenne

Four of our Rotarians joined the Rooted in Cheyenne crew to plant trees Saturday morning. Looks like Bailey Nowak, Bob Elwell, Mary Schwem and Brent Lathrop had a great day. Mary and her husband were at the registration desk, Brent, Bob, Bailey and their team planted 7 trees in total. There were 105 trees planted Saturday by the volunteers and the Rooted in Cheyenne crew, it was the largest turnout of volunteers since the start of the program 10 years ago. The 1,000th tree was planted on Saturday.

Progressive Dinner a Success

Twenty Rotarians and spouses enjoyed an evening of conversation and dining during the progressive dinner on Sunday night. We started with wine and appetizers at Beth VanDeWege and Pat Day,s lovely home. Then the group split and dinner and was served at the Lathrop's and the Osborn's. Dessert at the Sim's was an extravaganza of sweets, coffee and cordials. We hope to make this a yearly event.

Ft. Collins Breakfast Rotary Memorial Day Field of Honor

On May 27-30, Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club will present its second annual Field of Honor® American Flag Display near Veteran’s Plaza at Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins, CO.

The Field of Honor® is a spectacular display of 500 American flags, each with a medallion honoring a special hero. Heroes are veterans, living or deceased, active military, first responders, medical workers, teachers and personal heroes. The field of red, white and blue is a powerful experience and provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to remember and honor their many heroes. Medallions can be purchased for $50.00 each at rotaryfcbreakfast.org .
