Cheyenne Rotary Foundation Achieves $1M Goal
Past President and Cheyenne Rotary Foundation Chairman Bob Womack led the celebration for surpassing the one million dollar goal for the corpus of the Cheyenne Rotary Foundation he set during his year as President of our club in 2007-08.  Many thanks to all the many Rotarians who helped to achieve this lofty goal!
Paul Harris Fellow Award
Billie Addleman presented New Past President Brent Lathrop with his PHF +2.  Thank you Brent for leading us through the 2020-2021 Rotary year, a year that would have challenged the best of us.  You powered though and demonstrated true leadership resulting in the District 5440 Large Club of the Year award.

Personal biography
I usually tell people that ask that my slight southern accent is because I live in south Cheyenne. Actually, I am originally from Tennessee. I am married to Paula Strickland and we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2020 and have two sons and three grandsons. My wife and I moved to Wyoming in 1972 so that I could attend graduate school at the University of Wyoming. We both fell in love with the state and after receiving my PhD in 1975, every career and personal decision we’ve made was designed to keep us in Wyoming. I enjoy game bird hunting, fly-fishing, hiking, scuba diving, and watching the Cowboys and Cowgirls involved in intercollegiate sports. I also enjoy doing special projects in Rotary. I have been a member of Rotary’s International Community Service Committee for my entire history with Rotary. I was attracted to Rotary because of the organization’s commitment to “Service above Self.”
