Lunavi (formerly Green Houses Data), A Cheyenne Success Story

Green House Data and Deliveron are now Lunavi in Cheyenne.  They offer businesses a secure and reliable data center for primary workloads or disaster recovery and access to high-speed fiber and telecommunications infrastructure.  They help navigate what's next in enterprise IT. Lunavi President and Founder, Shawn Mills, will update us on this success story in Cheyenne.  

New Member Introduction
Cindy Pomeroy introduced new member, Barbara Stafford, the following is her Bio:
 
Barbara Stafford is recently retired.  As President of Task Global, an international business consulting company, she worked with businesses in Scandinavia, Europe and Australia helping develop global business strategies and networks.  She also provided strategic and legislative support to various businesses and associations in the Mountain West Region.
 
Barbara is currently on the Board of the CRMC Foundation
 
Barbara has served on the Executive Boards of:
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
K9s4 Mobility
Julie’s Career Closet
International Business Association of the Rockies (IBAR)
Visit USA Scandinavia
United Way of Laramie County
Laramie County Meals on Wheels Foundation
 
She has also provided Legislative Support for:
  • Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition (WTIC)
  • Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association (WLRA)
  • Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce (WSCC)
  • Wyoming Economic Development Association WEDA)
  • Wyoming Retail Merchants Association (WRMA)
 
 
Barbara is married to Bill Stafford, They live east of Chugwater on the Stafford Hereford Ranch, a fourth generation family business.  They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
New Member Proposals
We have three Rotarians who have filed membership applications to become members in our club.  All three are transfers from other Rotary Clubs:
Tom Myers was a member in good standing of the Rotary Club of Breckenridge, Colorado.  Tom is a retired realtor.
Kris Whitfield is a member in good standing of the Rotary Club of  Laramie, Wyoming.  She is the Director of Development and Marketing for the United Way of Laramie County.
Cory Huber of Cheyenne State Bank is requesting a transfer of his Rotary Membership from the Scottsbluff Rotary Club.
Produce for Veterans
Help the After Hours Rotary Club provide free farm-fresh produce to veterans, their families, and families of deployed active duty service men/women by volunteering an hour of your time. Volunteers are needed Saturdays: August 21, August 28, and September 4. Show up at the Miller Farm stand at the Cheyenne Farmer’s Market, Frontier Park, around 12:45, take down tables and tents, break down boxes, reload the semi, and sort and re-pack vegetables. Stick around if you can to help deliver the produce to the VA medical center, where the vets will come to pick them up. Please let Tom Brantley know which day or days you will be able to help: tombrantley@mac.com.
September 1st Peaches Delivery Day
Remember to pick up your peaches at Spradley-Barr between 1:00 and 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 1st.
Rotary Picnic
The Rotary Annual Picnic is September 1 at the Wyoming Hereford Ranch.  Join us at the WHR Sale Barn and Lawn. Please RSVP via Evite - http://evite.me/PDYna6RT9w RSVP's are required by August 25th.
