The Rotary Foundation
PDG Chris Woodruff will be joining us and presenting on the power of working through the Rotary Foundation in Doing Good in the World.
Chris will provide our club an update on the giving status so far this year. He will also take some time to celebrate our club accomplishments in giving in past years. In addition, he will talk about ways to give, the Annual Fund, Polio Plus and the Endowment.
Lastly, Chris will also take some time to recognize a number of members for their generosity toward the Rotary Foundation.
His wife, Karoline, also a Rotarian, will be joining us for the presentation.
Thank you to new Rotarian Michelle Stephenson for playing the piano during lunch at last week's meeting. Michelle will play at future meetings when she is available.
Matthew Cannon has applied for membership in our Rotary Club. Matt is sponsored by Mick Finnegan and is a Commercial Service Officer with Western Vista Credit Union.

Rotary is committing US$500,000 to bolster the initiative, channeling these funds through a dedicated Polio Outbreak Response Fund. This contribution represents Rotary's sustained support to the World Health Organization in combating polio globally.
