The Cheyenne Rotary Club Foundation, founded in 1988, was created exclusively for the benefit of the Cheyenne Rotary Club to enable our Club to support community projects throughout Laramie County. Projects supported by the Foundation have included music education through the Cheyenne Symphony, the Veterans Center at LCCC, protective equipment for Cheyenne police, and character development books for students. With your gifts, we can do even more! When the endowment reaches $1 million, our Club will be able to contribute up to $50,000 per year to local projects. And this year, not only are your donations matched by a $30,000 challenge gift from Rotary Club funds, because of the CARES Act a larger portion of your donation may also be tax deductible. Help Rotary make a difference in our community, and donate today!

Help to support peace by sponsoring a student for the Summer Exchange Abroad Program this Rotary year! STEP allows students aged between 15 and 19 to experience the challenge and opportunity of a foreign exchange without committing to a full year. “What You Need to Know” summarizes the program and is available on the District’s website at https://rotary5440.org/sitepage/summer-youth-exchange.
The program is an easy way to support youth programs in your community. And it’s so easy to sponsor a student. Your club pays nothing to sponsor a student for an exciting summer exchange. You spread the word; your Youth Counselor interviews applicants and their parents, and inspects their home; and you sign some simple forms. That’s it!
What about Covid-19? The US student and their family must agree with their exchange sister/brother and their family that it is safe to travel to, and reside in, the exchange country. If either the US or foreign family requests cancellation because of Covid-19, the exchange will be cancelled at no cost to the student.
We wish you the best of luck in sponsoring your students this summer. A step-by-step guide to the process is available. If you have any questions, please call me or email me at District5440.STEP@gmail.com.
If you want to say ,"Hi!" and catch up with each other before the meeting, please "join" the virtual meeting any time after 11:45. You will be able to unmute yourself and connect for about fifteen minutes. When you first join the meeting, you will be in a "waiting Room" and we will let you in as soon as we can. At 12:00, we will start the meeting.

The idea that Rotary should own its headquarters dates back at least to the 1920 convention, when RI President Albert Adams said that he hoped to someday see the headquarters in a beautiful building of Rotary’s own.
Here’s why these organizations and their Rotary club partners are supporting local women’s entrepreneurship with financial literacy, small business loans, and one-on-one advisors.
Throughout the pandemic, members are discovering ways to connect, cope, and care for each other and people in the communities they serve.
