In Case you missed Last Week's Program

Jillian Balow, Superintendent of Public Instruction, State of Wyoming,

shared the concerns and issues the legislature will face when considering

Education Funding during this year's Legislative Budget Session.

Visiting Rotarian Governor Mark Gordon attended the lunch to hear Ms.
Balow's speech.
This Week's Program

Speaker:  Steph Denning

Program:  Youth Exchange Students

Next Week's Program
Speaker:  Denice Davis

Program:  Civil Discourse through Workshops and Efforts through Better
Angels

Better Angels is a national citizens’ movement to reduce political polarization
in the United States by bringing liberals and conservatives together to
understand each other beyond stereotypes, forming red/blue community
alliances, teaching practical skills for communicating across political differences,
and making a strong public argument for depolarization.
Up-Coming Programs
Jan 29:

Speaker:  Tim Coons, Weld Community Foundation

Program:  Out of the Garage and Into the Neighborhood

What if we are approaching community all wrong? And our backwards

approach could be creating more loneliness than connection?

Tim Coons, from the Weld Community Foundation, will explore the topics

of connecting in community and belonging in this age of social isolation,

and sharing portions of his podcast, "Weld Found." https://weldfound.podbean.com/

Feb 5

Speaker:  Tom Hutchins

Program:  9/11 at the Pentagon

We unite red and blue Americans in a working alliance to

Depolarize America. Instead of asking people to change their

minds about key issues, we give all Americans a chance to

better understand each other, to absorb the values and

experiences that inform our political philosophies, and to

ultimately recognize our common humanity.
