Our Rotary Club of Cheyenne Membership Committee Co-Chairs Scott Van Horn and Bailey Nowak will provide the fun as our program.

Cheyenne Trolley Rides for Veterans

Tuesday of last week four Rotarians, Janet Lewis, Phyllis Sherard, Dave Bartlett and Bob Sherard accompanied five Veterans from the Veterans Hospital along with three masked nurses and aides from the hospital on a trolley ride around Cheyenne.

Feedback wanted: Potential Service Project Bronze Statues

We've had an update from the artist, Delissalde, that the statues will be larger than originally proposed. Originally, they were to be 40” statues on 24” pedestals. The artist is proposing statues closer to life-size, 60” statues placed on a 30” pedestal, giving each a height of over 7’. This increase in size also results in an increase in total project cost up to $105,000.

Club Communications

Club leadership is examining restructuring the positions into one position that will cover our club communications: our website, weekly bulletin, social media, and directory. If you are interested please send an email to President Anja at anja.bendel@gmail.com with your statement of interest, estimated monthly cost structure and examples of previous work, if you have any. There is a monthly stipend for this position.

Progressive Dinner Postponed

The popular Progressive Dinner scheduled for the 20th of March has been postponed. It will be back, just at a later date this spring. Look for an announcement soon of a new date. If you would like to host or participate on the planning team, contact President Anja Bendel or Brent Lathrop 307-286-7661.
