The purpose of the Cheyenne Rotary Club's World Community Service Committee will be to:
- To enable the club to undertake international projects in the following areas
- Community development;
- Disaster preparedness, relief and recovery;
- Education;
- Environment;
- Health;
- Hunger;
- Project administration and logistics;
- Water and Sanitation
- To develop closer ties between Rotarians in different countries;
- To aid international understanding;
- To build international goodwill;
- To address global concerns;
- To make a positive difference in our world.
The goals of the Cheyenne Rotary Club's World Community Service Committee are as follows:
- Hold a yearly planning meeting;
- Submit a yearly budget to the club officers and report progress monthly;
- Involve as many committee members as possible in committee activities;
- Give an annual presentation to the club about activities and accomplishments;
- Develop and maintain helpful contacts with other Rotary Clubs and non-Rotary organizations that can help us be effective;
- Use all available tools to communicate with the committee members and club members.
