Greg Mortenson Program on March 29, 2011

 The Cheyenne Rotary Clubs Foundation (our local foundation) is partnering with the LCCC Foundation and Laramie County Library System to bring Greg Mortenson, author of the best selling book Three Cups of Tea, to Cheyenne on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.  The two-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee will share his insightful commentary on promoting peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan through literacy and education.  Mr. Mortenson will address local students during an afternoon assembly and speak at a community program that night.   This month, over 800 copies of Three Cups of Tea will be delivered to elementary, junior high and high schools in Laramie County courtesy of our Rotary Club.  Tickets for his program are available at Taco John’s Events Center, 433.0024, or www.cheyennecity.org.
